I have been working as a Mental health Professional nearly exclusively in acute crisis triage and intervention roles in life threatening situations such as suicidality, self-harm, substance overuse and psychotic emergencies. For over 15 years assisting people across 2 continents dealing with significant crises had taken a toll which was hard to ignore. So, I began to paint as a way to de-stress from the trauma of the work and find a creative outlet to make peace with the negative impact that mental health had left on me.

What was born from a need, has become a passion, and a Spiritual Practice, a creative connection to Higher, Divine energies and to Peace. These paintings are a visual meditation, a conduit stream of images and consciousness from a different place and time.

My journey through my art has been intertwined and will continue to be a vehicle for my Spiritual Awakening and Evolution.  As reflection they continue to depict an everchanging landscape of images and motifs representing Life and Existence beyond human, foretelling a time yet to be and once was.
